Creent Position：Home>SNC Technology Surface Nanocrystallization (SNC) is a new technology proposed and developed by the Institute of Metal Research（IMR）, Chinese Academy of Sciences and France Troyes University of Technology originally. By using this technology, a surface nanocrystalline layer with gradient microstructure can be prepared due to severe plastic deformation caused by multi-directional high-frequency external loading repeatedly on the surface of materials. Currently, the study on the surface Nanocrystallization has aroused extensive concerns at home and abroad, and has been considered to be "one of the technologies most likely to achieve practical application in nano-materials research areas."
